Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 May 2026
This policy explains how raidio24 (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use this website and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive. It complements our Cookie Policy.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is raidio24, which operates raidio24. For any privacy request, contact paolo.cambria@bitleapps.com.
Operator note: add your registered address and (where required) your Data Protection Officer’s details before going public.
2. What we collect and why
- Account data — email address, display name and (for social sign-in) an avatar URL. Used to create and operate your account.
- Authentication — a session cookie and a password hash (we never store plaintext passwords). Used to keep you signed in.
- Activity you choose — shows you follow, favorites, and comments you post. Used to deliver those features.
- Donations — processed by Stripe. We receive the amount and status; we never see or store full card details.
- Notifications — your email and/or web-push subscription, only if you opt in. Used to send the alerts you requested.
- Analytics — only if you accept analytics cookies (see the Cookie Policy). Used to understand aggregate usage.
- Anonymous listener id — a random identifier stored in your browser (localStorage) so live audio reconnects work. It is not linked to your identity unless you sign in.
- Technical logs — IP address and request metadata, kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.
3. Legal bases
- Contract — operating your account and the features you use.
- Consent — analytics cookies, marketing/newsletter email, and push notifications. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the service secure and preventing abuse, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — retaining donation records where tax/accounting law requires it.
4. Who we share data with
We use a small set of processors, each only for the purpose described:
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) — usage analytics, only with your consent and under Google Consent Mode.
- Stripe — payment processing for donations.
- Email provider — sending verification, reset and notification email.
- Hosting & infrastructure — running the application.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Where a processor stores data outside the EEA, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted on request. Logs are kept only briefly. Donation records are kept as long as the law requires.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can:
- access a copy of your data and have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased and restrict or object to processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time — manage analytics cookies on the Cookie Policy page, and email/push preferences in your account settings;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any right, email paolo.cambria@bitleapps.com.
8. Children
The service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
